I just can’t say it enough. I love fall! Knits, of course, always make a triumphant comeback during this season and this year Karen Millen has created the perfect knit dress that I happen to be absolutely mad for! This black and blue dress is modern and sleek with a vintage, “Mad Men” flair to it that, when paired with the right accessories, can give you a fabulous 1960’s look. By day, you’ll feel very Jackie-O – professional and elegant. By night, with a little rouge, sexy pumps and an up do – you’re all Marilyn! There’s an important thing to note when you’re trying to go for a bit of that vintage style: don’t overdo it! It’s easy to get carried away with hair, makeup and accessories, but the best way to incorporate vintage or vintage-inspired pieces into your wardrobe is to try to mix them with other, more modern pieces from your closet. Creating an entirely retro outfit not only makes you look like you’re on your way to a costume party but can also make you look older than you are. Have fun experimenting with your own style because a great outfit keeps us looking young and fresh!
