I am always on the lookout for healthy snack for my family, here’s one I have on heavy rotation at home. Pita chips are light and crispy.They are perfect for dipping with hummus or baba ghannouj, Here’s the basic recipe, but you can add thyme, garlic,zataar, or any other spices you might like.
- 3 large pita bread loaves
- 1/2 cup olive oil
- kosher salt
Brush the pita bread with olive oil and sprinkle with kosher salt.
Cut each loaf into eight triangles.
Bake in oven for 5-7 minutes. Remove from oven and serve immediately!
