Palm trees blowing in the breeze, sandy beaches that stretch on for miles, bright blue sparkling water…. Let’s face it, a distant island get-away is everyone’s dream vacation. But for those of us for whom this dream is just that, a dream, there are other ways to make our escape from the humdrum of everyday life. My escape was taking some time out to try my newest nail polish shade from Essie, Turquoise & Caicos, on my fingertips and tootsies. A couple of coats later, and my beautiful bright turquoise nails looked like they belonged on a gorgeous tropical beach, even if I was at the office. Now, that’s what I call globetrotting on a budget!
