DIY: How to make a flower grid in 4 easy steps
You don’t have to be a florist to make beautiful floral arrangements at home.
In this DIY, you’ll learn how to create a grid that will keep your flowers in place. The final product will result in a beautiful arrangement that is sure to impress.
Simply follow these four steps:
- Fill your vase with water.
- Start making the grid by stretching clear floral tape (or scotch tape) across the top of your vase or bowl. The size of the grid will depend on the flowers. The average is 2″ apart but can be smaller or larger depending on the flowers you use.
- Now that your grid is complete, you can start inserting your flowers. You can play around with different designs, but ideally, you’ll want to start with the larger flowers, followed by medium sized flowers and complete with the small ones. Inserting the flowers at an angle will help conceal the tape.
- For the final touch, add some greenery to ensure there is no tape showing.
Voila! In just four simple steps you have created a stunning flower arrangement that looks like it came from the florist.
