Hello! Welcome to Serial Indulgence! I’m excited to have you here! Let me introduce myself. My name is Maryam, and besides being the owner of this blog, I’m also a fashion stylist and the co-owner of a fantastic designer showroom in Montreal, called Très Chic Styling. I love my jobs because they keep me in constant contact with fashion, the love of my life since I first poured over the pages of Vogue at age ten. My work also keeps me extremely busy, however, and after jam-packed day followed by jam-packed day, I’ve grown to appreciate spending quality “me time” whenever I get the chance. I realize I am probably only one of many men and women struggling against the dreaded “all-work-and-no-play” syndrome in today’s world, so I’ve decided to create Serial Indulgence to celebrate the art of indulging and the joy and relief it brings to a hectic life (mine in particular!).

My posts will be split up according to the six sides of my personality that I indulge when I get a free moment: Maryam the Fashionista, the Jet-setter, the Foodie, the Health and Beauty Addict, the Art Lover, and the Hostess. I’ll also be featuring stories with my “entourage,” those amazing women in my life with whom I’m lucky enough to share my prized “me time.” If you’re curious to know more about these lovely ladies, be sure to sneak a peek at their bios.
