Don’t know what to cook tonight why not try this simple Indian Style Salmon Tandoori recipe. I made the recipe simpler and lighter using tandoori powder available at most supermarket
- 24 ounces salmon fillets (with skin)
- 1 pinch salt
- 1 pinch pepper
- Tandoori Powder
- 1/2 cup nonfat plain yogurt
- 1 tbsp lemon juice
- 2 tsp minced fresh mint leaves
- 2 tsp minced fresh cilantro leaves
Place salmon fillets, skin side down, on a aluminium fold
Cover and marinate in refrigerator for at least 4 hours or up to 24 hours.
Shaking off excess marinade and reserving, place salmon, skin side up, on greased grill over medium-high heat.
Cook for 5 minutes then turn
Cook for 4 to 6 minutes or until fish flakes easily when tested with fork.
Make the Herbed Yogurt Sauce: In a small bowl, whisk together all ingredients and refrigerate for at least 15 minutes before serving.
